eCOM Handpicked as Part Of Tencent's Blockchain Accelerator Program
On August 8, 2020, Tencent announced its Global Top 32 Blockchain Accelerator Program participants. After multiple rounds of fierce competition, eCOM Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "eCOM") stood out from over 500 blockchain enterprises across the world and was successfully listed as the first member of Tencent’s prestigious invite-only program.

Tencent’s Blockchain Accelerator is an important part of its overall Industry Accelerator program. Through the integration of international blockchain industry resources and the connection to highly innovative blockchain enterprises, the program will create a multi-dimensional ecosystem platform on the basis of technology, scenario analysis, business opportunities and capital, while promoting independent innovations of blockchain technology, co-creating industry game-changing solutions, and help technology applications to successfully land in various industry scenarios and accelerate the implementation of Tencent’s overall industrial blockchain.
Selected participants include three major roles: industrial blockchain solution provider, industrial blockchain infrastructure provider, and industrial blockchain peripheral service provider. These roles cover the following but are not limited to the underlying blockchain technology, supply chain finance, trusted certificates, electronic bills, data elements, identity management, supply chain management, digital assets, and product traceability. Tencent’s Blockchain Accelerator Program will provide ecological support with regard to the levels of technology, resources, business opportunities and capital for selected member enterprises with exclusive ecological GAS through the combination of "funds and assistance". From technical research to industrial scenarios that lead towards industrial ecological connections, eCOM will jointly promote a close cooperation in blockchain and build a highly engaged and successful ecosystem with Tencent.

eCOM’s solution, the “eCOM Registry” is a point-to-point data network based on blockchain technology. Using its distributed ledger and the characteristics of distributed data storage, eCOM has developed a set of specifications that gives data owners absolute control over the data they choose to share. This not only eliminates the data owners’ or users' concerns about data being leaked and tampered whenever data is shared, but also allows the data receiver to increase the credibility of data through proper visibility, tracking, and immutable identification. Currently, the eCOM Registry has been successfully implemented in ports, logistics, and other industries. It has also connected both upstream and downstream enterprises across various business units, while allowing participants to authorize and share data to financial institutions through the eCOM Registry network. It not only can solve problems of "high technical threshold" and "financing difficulties" for small-to-medium sized enterprises, but also provide financial institutions with various data sources and data validation to reduce financial risks and improve the trade ecosystem.
