Building the Smart Trade Service Platform is an important measure based on the development strategic direction of ITOC. It helps ITOC to integrate existing business systems as well as customs platform, warehouse management system, transportation management system, and office automation systems to create an interconnected, efficient, and secure cloud computing platform.
The Smart Trade Service Platform helps ITOC to realize the integration and sharing of data among various business systems and to fully mine massive business data accumulated over the years within the business systems to realize a quick search and actively push data. It also provides system connections between relevant functional departments and clients to perform real-time query for operation status of customs, warehousing, transportation, and other businesses so as to further enhance customer experience and synergies. Therefore, the platform is of great importance for ITOC to improve the level of information and data intelligence management, promote management innovation and efficiency, and reduce management risks.
Each key leader of ITOC gave a brief introduction to ITOC’s respective business characteristics and important positioning, and expressed the highest commitment to this project. All members in the project are required to deeply cooperate with each other to successfully complete the project launch and achieve the expected goal.
Mr. Horace Mak expressed his thanks to ITOC for entrusting eCOM with the project, and then introduced its professional industry experience and use cases in trade and logistics while introducing the application of eCOM Registry blockchain in trade and logistics.
Both parties believe that building the Smart Trade Service Platform will improve ITOC’s comprehensive service capacity and internal work efficiency by integrating the existing business into the cloud, integrating business and information resources, and building a one-stop trade service cloud platform with the import and export business as the core. The Smart Trade Service Platform, powered by eCOM big data analysis and artificial intelligence, will provide better value-added services for enterprises inside or outside the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.
